Our goal is to raise 30,000 meals between October and November for people struggling right here in Utah. Caring Hands has partnered with another well-known entity, Convoy of Hope for this project and all donations are tax deductible.

All donations received during these two months will go towards providing meals for The Road Home and Roots High School in Salt Lake City. Have you heard of these fabulous places? The Road Home is a well-established shelter in the center of Salt Lake City that cares for the city's homeless.

Roots High School is something I have just learned about, and I LOVE it! This chartered school cares for severely disadvantaged youth. They are an agriculturally based charter school, so not only do they provide basic school education, they teach these youth the benefits of responsibility, hard work, and the law of the harvest while they are in school. They learn everything from business, to mechanics and leave the school with skills they can use to provide for their futures and the futures of their families. Because it is a chartered school, they rely on donations to help them fund their projects. This Caring Hands project will help provide the kids with lunches and also fill a pantry that the kids can use to take food home so they are taken care of outside of school as well. If we raise 30,000 meals the charity founders will also be donating $5000-$10,000 cash to The Road Home Or Roots High School as well. So there is so much good that will come from this!!

Kyäni Caring Hands has a mission to provide hope to children in need by improving access to nutrition, sanitation, and education. They build schools, provide scholarships and make sure that their contributions continue to bless the community even after they have left. They are partnering with Convoy of Hope, a humanitarian organization based in Missouri, to accomplish its mission.
